Electrical Engineering
The discipline of electrical engineering represents the core of ITI's activities. We deal with the design of low, medium and high voltage electrical systems, both for complex industrial plants and for strategic infrastructures in the energy sector. Our skills range from the development of single-line and multi-line diagrams, to the design of power and automation electrical panels, up to the definition of protection, selectivity and coordination logics between devices. We design and size power lines, transformation cabins, HV/MV/LV substations, earthing systems and auxiliary systems, integrating the analysis of electrical loads with network simulations (power flow, fault analysis, etc.). We use industry software (such as ETAP, SP3D, AutoCAD Electrical, etc.) to guarantee precision and reliability in every design phase. The goal is always the same: to provide safe, efficient solutions that comply with international technical standards (IEC, CEI, IEEE, EN), ensuring the customer a robust, high-performance electrical infrastructure ready for integration with automation and control systems.
Instrumentation and Control Engineering
Instrumentation and control engineering is another business area for ITI in which it operates with advanced expertise and an integrated vision. We design complete systems for the measurement, regulation and control of industrial processes, ensuring high performance, reliability and full compliance with regulatory requirements (IEC, ISA, SIL, ATEX). Our activities include the definition of field instrumentation (transmitters, control valves, sensors, flow meters, pressure, temperature, level, analyzers, etc.), the drafting of loop diagrams, hook-ups, cable lists, I/O lists, and the design of signal networks, marshalling interfaces and control panels. We also deal with the definition of DCS, PLC and SCADA architectures, configuring control logics, alarms and operating sequences in highly complex industrial environments. From P&ID development to commissioning and start-up, we guarantee accurate process control, with scalable solutions ready for integration into advanced digital systems (Industry 4.0, predictive maintenance, etc.). Our approach combines deep technical knowledge and constant technological updating, ensuring each customer a safe, efficient and high-performance control system
Automation & Telecommunications Engineering
ITI srl develops advanced industrial automation and telecommunications solutions for complex plants in the energy, Oil & Gas, power generation and infrastructure sectors. Automation engineering is oriented towards the design of DCS, PLC, SCADA and RTU architectures, the definition of control logics, the management of I/O signals and integration with supervision and human-machine interface (HMI) systems. We work on market standards such as Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Emerson, Honeywell and Rockwell, ensuring compatibility and scalability in systems. In the field of industrial telecommunications, we design wired and wireless networks for data, voice and video transmission over optical fiber, copper, radio and satellite, ensuring redundancy, security and operational continuity. Our solutions include LAN/WAN networks, VoIP systems, CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, gas and fire detection systems, and infrastructures for remote or local data centers. Each system is designed according to international standards (IEC, ISO, ITU-T, NIST) and conceived to integrate into complex environments, even those subject to environmental or regulatory constraints. The goal is to offer total control, secure communication and intelligent process management, enabling digital interconnection between field, plant and central supervision.
3D modeling
3D modeling is an indispensable tool for highly complex projects, which ITI srl uses to support multidisciplinary design in a precise and integrated way. Through advanced software such as SP3D, PDMS, AutoCAD and Navisworks, we develop complete three-dimensional models of electrical and instrumental systems, integrating cable routing, installation of conduits, walkways, pipes, equipment, junction boxes and panels. The 3D model allows for accurate verification of interference (clash detection), better control of overall dimensions and optimal coordination between mechanical, electrical and instrumental disciplines. Three-dimensional design is also essential for the automatic generation of construction drawings, isometrics, bills of materials (MTO) and installation documentation. Thanks to 3D modeling, we offer the customer a realistic and complete vision of the system already in the design phase, reducing risks on site and optimizing installation times. The models can be integrated into BIM or digital twin environments, enabling advanced features for plant lifecycle management (O&M, revamping, operational simulations).
